About Us

In 2000, when Richard Ater ARNP realized how many senior citizens were struggling due to lack of access to knowledgable, affordable psychiatric care, he decided to go into practice to provide psychiatric services to seniors citizens in Seattle, Wa. His mission was to insure that everyone who needs psychiatric care could get it. Over the years, his range of practice expanded to include providing psychiatric care to Bellevue, Kirkland, Tacoma, Everett, as well as the Olympic Peninsula and eventually all of Western Washington. In 2020 we moved to being primarily a televisit-based practice, and in 2023 we expanded our services to include general adult psychiatry. We don’t turn away anyone for any reason. If you or someone you love needs our help, we’ll work with you to make sure you or your loved one gets the psychiatric care they need.
